Unit Fourteen

    1. 坐火车到那儿要三十小时。
       It takes 30 hours to get there by train.

    2. 应邀来参加这次大会我们深感荣幸。
       We are very honoured to be invited to attend this conference.

    3. 没有什么需你来关心的事。
       There is nothing for you to be concerned about.

    4. 她是一位很好共事的人。
       She is a nice person to work with.

    5. 要想把这事弄清楚，这是最简单不过的办法了。
       This is the simplest way to get to the bottom of the matter.

    6. 你不要对我们有什么保留；讲出事实的真相是你的责任。
       Don't hold anything back from us.  It is your duty to tell the truth.

    7. 我相信我们彼此之间可以解决一些问题。重要的是我们首先应该相互信任。
       I'm sure we can work out something between us;
      it is important that we should believe in each other first.

    8. 必须承认黑暗中人们容易出错。但委员会并不是出于这个原因才相信他的陈述的。
       It has to be admitted that it is easy for people to make mistakes in the dark. 
      But it is not for this account that the committee believed his story.
