      You have to have an operation in order to stop the infection spreading in your body.

      We must make every effort to slow down the progress of the illness.

      The problems you are faced with are not only to find a doctor for him
     but to take more care of him.

   7. 这次会议将重点解决如何防止爱滋病在世界范围内泛滥的问题。
      The conference will focus on how to prevent the spread of AIDS throughout the world.

   8. 虽然如此规模的毒品走私活动在这一地区刚刚开始，但这一问题已经引起了当地政府的注意。
      Though drug trafficking on such a scale has just been around in this area,
     it has caused the concern from the local government.
